Modern (Seattle?) Dating is broken and dehumanizing. At some point, swiping replaced connection, and the dual curses of short attention spans and goal orientation made the process of “finding that someone” an exercise in self harm. The album paints the story of discovering this fresh hell we’ve made for ourselves, and means to begin a conversation about how to find our way out.
